Life on the East Side- Episode 2

For those of you who don’t live in Austin, Texas, something that we’ve become known for as of late is our near dysfunctional obsession with food trailers. Like insatiable rabbits, these mini-restaurants are popping up left and right. Actually, this morning, I saw one sprouting out of the ground in my backyard.

We also really like Kate Bush.

A lot.

A lot lot.

Food trailers? Nice. So it's true, Texas is like a Westernly version of Georgia. Except most people I know around here, other than myself, don't like Kate Bush. They're more into Taylor Swift. Stupid bastards…

Food trucks are great– they're trendy now for restaurant start-ups who can't afford regular rent. We have a "Kung-Fu Taco" truck around here in SF– they're starting to take off here, too.

I like the 'irony' in the segment about the irony of the band name.

This is way cute… I sad, too. I wonder what happens to this in people, who when they were young, come up with the best crazy ideas ever? I mean some of those 'too crazy to work' ideas actually DID come off!!
